Type of animal(s) Rescue deals with: Mostly Dogs and Cats, can help Rabbits and Guinea pigs in small numbers

Is Rescue breed specific? Please explain either way: n/a

Do you neuter all animals before leaving for forever homes where applicable? Please explain either way: Yes
If a new home is found before the animal is to be neutured (ie Dog just had season and cannot be spayed for 3 months) Then the rehome remains on trial paperwork and the neuter is carried out when the vet has advised. The rescue will collect the animal and oversee the whole process.

Do you always home check?: Yes initial homecheck, if passed, we then go through an Introducing period, meet up on dog walks if introducing dogs, then trial paperwork, then adoption paperwork, then 2 to 3 followups, more depending on the animals requirements. Cat homechecks require knowledge of the area to ensure this is safe for the cat they are interested in. We ensure the right animal is in the right home/area with stages of adoption paperwork and followups

If applicable do you always vaccinate?: Yes
We dont KC vaccine as our dogs dont go in kennels they are in foster.
We educate new homes about KC vaccine if we know they will use boarding kennels for their new pet in the future

If applicable do you always worm/flea treat?: Yes Frontline and Drontal

If applicable do you microchip?: Yes as soon as the animal comes in to the rescue at the first vet visit. Tag is also placed on collar with rescue tel numbers

Do you provide insurance when rehoming to new owners?: Not looked in to this yet.

Will you always take the animal back no matter what? If not please explain under what circumstances etc: Yes in all cases

Rough ‘donation’ guide per animal, please also explain what this involves:
Dogs Minimum £150 (more depending on the the vet work needed, in some cases dogs we rescue have been injured, we have been lucky to have found new owners willing to contribute more to the vet bill. We are open and honest with our home offers of how much the dog has cost)
This includes – Neuture, Chip, Pre GA Blood tests (more if required), dental, flea & worm, ear mites if needed, vaccinate, nails clipped

Cats Minimum £100
Neuture, LEUK/AIDs test, Blood tests if needed, Dental, Vacinate, Chip, Flea & Worm, ear mites.

We give the vet treatment that the animals need.
If an animal we rescue needs regular vet treatment, we do not rehome, we look for long a term foster home and that animal will become a sponsor animal in our care. Full control for that animal remains with the rescue to ensure the animal gets the vetinary treatment and care it needs.
We are a no kill rescue
